Available now, the latest update lets you sync your tracks across various devices via the cloud.
Pioneer DJ has released a new version of its popular DJ software rekordbox.
The latest update, rekordbox 6.0, includes several new features, chief among them the ability to sync tracks across various devices via cloud-based app Dropbox. Choosing from three new subscription plans—including a free option—users can edit tracks on the fly from their iPhones and store all metadata securely in the cloud.
The new version also supports music promo platform Inflyte, so DJs can play the latest tunes via the integrated Inflyte Promo Locker. Other features include Ableton Link support, Auto Relocate for missing tracks and 3Band waveform, which shows the volume frequency of lows, highs and mids.
Rekordbox 6.0 is available now for Mac and Windows. The Core and Creative plans currently cost €6.99 and €9.99 per month, respectively. These offers will expire on July 13th.
A new version of rekordbox has also been released for iOS.
