Legendary Ibiza venue Bora Bora is shutting in October after 40 years. The popular Playa d'en Bossa complex—which today spans a beach club, restaurant and hotel—confirmed the news July 26th, via Facebook. Beyond the closing party on October 15th, it's currently unclear what will happen to the space. The final season, dubbed "The Last Chance To Dance," is already underway, with residencies such as Sondela, Nic Fanciulli's Dance! and The Zoo Project. Entry, as ever, is free. Opened in the summer of 1982 by Florentino Arzuaga, Bora Bora was the first seaside restaurant to play music on the island, a trend that soon caught on and eventually birthed the beach club. Past guests on the decks include Marco Carola, David Morales, Smokin Jo, Todd Terry and Danny Tenaglia.
